After 2 years, the obvious next step was to move to Los Angeles, California. Over the next 22 years, Michael worked his way up from Assistant Editor to Editor / Producer on a multitude of broadcast television shows and series. Networks include NBC, Fox, Paramount Syndication, Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, Litton Syndication, Investigation Discovery and HGTV.

Michael was integral in the development of the Emmy Award winning "A Baby Story", formerly on TLC. He was also heavily involved in HGTV's top 2 rated shows at the time, "House Hunters" and the Telly Award winning "Designers' Challenge".

In 2012, Michael moved back to Washington to be closer to family. Waterside Video Production was born in 2014 to serve the local Thurston County community. Waterside's goal is to provide you with quality video production services with heart. The end product is as important to us as it is to you!
